Photos of Montreal, Quebec

Montreal is a city with a personality of its own. The second
you step off the train in the city you realise this.
A bi-lingual city unlike Quebec City which is French, Montreal
is both French and English so you never know what language
the person you meet behind a counter will respond in.
To avoid the bitter winter weather, over 40 city blocks are
accessible through 40km of underground walkways which resemble
that of a mall that never ends. Over 5000 businesses are accessible
without stepping outside. Pictures 5 and 6 show some of these
areas although most of it is not visually impressive because
of its similarity to that of any common shopping centre.
All of the pictures from 8 onwards show the Montreal Biodome
which was constructed inside the Velodrome at the Montreal
Olympic Park. |
