Photos of North Vancouver, British Columbia
Across the Burrard Inlet over the huge Lion’s Gate
Bridge lies the mainly residential district of North Vancouver.
The waterfront at Lonsdale Quay contains much of the areas
entertainment and tourist places.
Heading further north lies the world famous Capliano Suspension
Bridge, 140m in length and over 75m above the Capilano River.
Further up the river is the Capilano Reservoir. Further still
up Nancy Greene Way, just 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver,
is Grouse Mountain, Vancouver’s most popular ski hill.
Pictures 11 onwards are from Grouse Mountain from around
the summit, on the sky ride cable car and from a chartered
helicopter which I took and flew around the mountain and surrounding
mountains of the British Columbia Coastal Range.
